Please don't keep me waiting!

I have gone on more interviews in the past couple of weeks, than I have my entire life. I've been looking for employment in the mall for the holidays, but mainly my search has been for 'paid internships'. In my search through E-recruiting (which is wonderful by the way ;) and other job searching sites I have gone on many interesting interviews. From group interviews at a retail store who prides in undergarments, to a trick interview at an "insurance comany" where apparently I wasn't the only one thinking it was an internship position, to an interview that caught me off guard one day at work and upon receiving my resume the employer couldn't help but question me on the phone, then I proceeded to two interviews, writing and editing articles and waiting anxiously by the phone only to hear that they were continuing their candidate search.

It has been an interesting job hunt and I have so many experiences to share with other students on what I have learned and what to expect.

Few quick tips:
Plan EXTRA! travel time, in case your like me and sometimes the directions given aren't very clear and could lead you to the other side of town.

Have the interviewers phone number available, you never know when you may need help with directions!

Have copies of your resume with you, and always RE-edit it, you can never edit too much, trust me, i know!!

There is so much I can say about this rollercoaster ride called Job Search, they will often keep you waiting, but you just have to keep applying until you get a job thats good for you.

-Until later,

I've been on the biggest job hunt of my life these past couple of months. Being unhappy with my current employer, I have been motivated to search for a new position. Either for my dream job right out of college or something to do with my major, I've had some interesting interviews, some that I was wrongfuly led to, and others that went well but I never heard a call back from.
Job Hunting is not easy!!!!

Being in college, its not always easy to find the good jobs, but we dont have to settle for the mall jobs, we just have to keep the hunting until we find something suited for us.
